CONSTRUCTION LOANS
Construction loans are a little different to other types of loan. Instead of a lump payment upfront a construction loan lends money in instalments as the construction progresses.
We consult with you on your project plans and situation. Once financing is approved, we notify the builder and make an initial deposit so they may begin construction. We arrange further payments to the builder as the project is completed, during which time you may only pay interest on the money already lent. This means initial repayments are relatively low.
Construction loans are intended for personal homes and investment houses. They are not intended for homes that are to be immediately sold.
